When is the best time for my photo session?

My favorite time to shoot outdoors is during "Golden Hour". This is typically 1-2 hours before sunset (depending on the location).

However, if a different time works better for your schedule we can talk about it and find a time that works best.

In a studio, during daylight hours!

Do you have location ideas?

Yes! If you have a particular look in mind (field, mountain views, urban, etc.) then I can narrow down a few suggestions for you and we can decide together what will work best for your needs.

How does payment work? Do you require a deposit?

I can accept payment via credit card, Venmo or bank transfer.

A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking in order to reserve your date and time if more than two weeks out. The remainder is due the day of your session. I will not begin editing your images until full payment is received.

If for any reason I need to cancel your session, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

Deposits are non-refundable for no-shows, tardiness, or if there is a lack of communication with me of any barriers preventing you from arriving to your scheduled session.

Do you have access to a studio?

Yes!

There are several fantastic, natural light studios in the area to choose from. Studios are a great option year round if you don't want to worry about windswept hair, extreme temperatures, or having to reschedule because of crazy weather. An added bonus is having a private space to change outfits in too.

Studio rental fees are the client's responsibility and will be added onto the session price, and are typically charged by the hour.

Can you just "Photoshop" that?

Photoshop is an incredible and powerful editing tool but not one that I rely on extensively as part of my workflow. Just my preference!

Please bring any specific questions or concerns to my attention in advance to see if I am able to accommodate your needs. I do my best to get the shot right "in camera" and later add a little pop and polish in my personal style. Any editing requests beyond the delivery of your gallery will be subject to an additional editing fee.

What if the weather is bad or some other issue comes up?

In case of inclement weather (rain, snow, extreme wind) or illness, we can reschedule your session once at no extra charge.

Do you charge travel fees?

Locations more than a 30 minute drive from my home in Herriman may require an additional surcharge to account for my time and travel.

How and When will I receive my photos?

My turnaround is 3 weeks after final payment has been made. If you would like your gallery sooner, I can accommodate this with payment of a rush fee.

Your completed gallery will be delivered via online download. You will receive an email with further information.

Do I have to order prints through you?

Nope!
I will provide you with a print release and it's totally up to you where you print your images.

Please be aware that quality will vary greatly depending on the lab.
